Compass Church CR wants to invite you on September 17th to hear Deb Runge, a missionary to Haiti with a heart to bring Celebrate Recovery to those in desperate need of hope and healing. She currently serves as the International Rep for CR in Haiti, and before moving there 11 years ago, she was a CR Ministry Leader for 10 years and also served as the Wisconsin State Rep for a number of years.
About 3 years ago, she released her first book: “Recover Your Mission: How a Drunk from Wisconsin Became a Missionary in Haiti” It’s a wild God-story, and written in just 8 weeks—only by the grace of God! Copies will be available for purchase for anyone who’s interested. The book also just received the “International Impact Book Award” so it’s worth a read!
Just about a year ago, a compilation book that she contributed a story to was released: “The Cinderella Monologues – 3rd Edition. It contains Inspiring Stories of Women Finding Courage & Success. The Cinderella Monologues is a collection of true stories from real-life “Cinderellas” to inspire, energize, entertain, encourage and empower women. Her particular chapter is called “Recover Your Mission: Relationship Edition – Looking For Love In All The Wrong Places.”
Doors open at 6pm, with the program starting at 6:30. While this will be a “normal CR” evening, they will give most of the time to Deb, then will break into small groups at 7:30. The large group session will start in the Sanctuary of the church, located at 1909 Highland Avenue in Janesville, WI.
